America's Cup has history of skullduggery, subterfuge

New Zealand sailor and yachting commentator Peter Lester says the history of the America's Cup is littered with skulduggery and subterfuge - just not so much in Aotearoa. The Auckland-based Emirates Team New Zealand says it discovered spies among its contractors and the employees have been sacked. Team New Zealand boss, Grant Dalton, isn't sure which secrets have been spilled, but the unnamed contractors had access throughout its waterfront headquarters. Mr Lester, who competed in three Cup campaigns, told our reporter Jean Bell the race to claim the Auld Mug has a long history of high-stakes competition.
