Para shot putter Lisa Adams joins training squad post lockdown

The Rotorua para-athlete Lisa Adams is loving having some uninterrupted training with the Athletics New Zealand squad in Hawke's Bay. The F37 shot put world champion and world record holder was very limited in what she could do during the covid-19 lockdown. Adams, who only took up the sport in 2017, is coached by her older sister and multiple Olympic and World Champion Dame Valerie Adams. For close to three months Lisa Adams says she had to be imaginative with her training in Rotorua.
