From First Up, 5:11 am on 9 June 2020

Mount Hutt skifield near Christchurch is amongst those celebrating today's move to level one. It opens for the first time on Friday and was preparing to do so under the many restrictions required under level two. It's owned by NZ Ski, which also runs Coronet Peak and the Remarkables skifields in Queenstown. The head of NZ Ski, Paul Anderson, told Conan Young the move to level one will make a huge difference to Mount Hutt's bottom line.
