Kaikoura business confident of surviving the Covid downturn

Back home, a small business owner in Kaikoura is optimistic she'll survive the downturn in business caused by covid-19. The coastal town in the South Island derives a third of its GDP from tourism, but this has been slashed by the border restrictions. Steph Hislop is the owner of the homegoods store Addy and Lou, and she told our reporter Meriana Johnsen she is hopeful the domestic tourism will be enough to sustain her business until borders reopen.
