Leadership for National Party - the Bridges and Muller battle
It's D-Day for National but just who's in the firing line won't be clear until this afternoon with both Simon Bridges and Todd Muller both saying they have the numbers to lead the party. Last night's One News Colmar-Brunton poll was a disaster for National- worse than Monday's Reid Research poll with the party slumping to just 29 per cent in party support - it's lowest since 2003. And it didn't look much better in the preferred Prime Minister stakes with Simon Bridges on just 5 per cent, a whopping 58 points behind Jacinda Ardern on 63 per cent. Joining us now is Political Commentator and former National Party Press Secretary Ben Thomas.
