Farmers markets opening up slowly again

Farmers markets were able to open again at the weekend for the first time in seven weeks. The risk of spreading Covid 19 meant they were forced to close under level four and three, leaving the many small producers and growers who rely on them, struggling to stay afloat. Conan Young visited the Riccarton Bush market in Christchurch and spoke to manager, Sam Marchant. He says the market has weathered some big storms in the past, including the earthquakes, but this one ranks pretty high in terms of the disruption.
