NZ creation Avocado milk wins at World Food Innovation Awards

There's a new kid on the block in the international milk market...and it's coming straight out of New Zealand. Avocado milk, created by Auckland chef, Sachie Nomura, took out the prize for best health or wellness drink at the 2020 World Food Innovation Awards last week. It's recently launched in the U.S. and if there is space in the market, it could soon be sold here. Our reporter Katie Doyle caught up with Ms Nomura who told her how the idea for Avocado milk came about.
