Canterbury top cop wants noisy police helicopter to stay

Canterbury's top cop would like to see the police eagle helicopter become a permanent feature. That's despite complaints from some Christchurch residents about the noise. Since the trial started 21 days ago there have been 18 noise control complaints. District Commander, Superintendent John Price, told reporter Conan Young most of the feedback they had been getting involved grumbles about the noise, but he said peoples' safety had to come first.
