Shot-putter Tom Walsh going for 11th national senior title

New Zealand shot-putter Tom Walsh admits to have been a little frustrated with how his season has gone so far but he's hoping to make amends at this weekend's National Track championships in Christchurch. Walsh will be attempting to win his 11th national senior title tonight. He should get some competition from fellow international Jacko Gill, but he is in doubt following a recent injury. Walsh would have headed off to China next week to defend his World Indoor title, but that was postponed because of the coronavirus. Walsh told Barry Guy that's probably played a part in his current form.
