From First Up, 5:37 am on 3 March 2020

The Black Caps have romped to a seven-wicket win over India in the second cricket test in Christchurch for an emphatic 2-0 series sweep of the world's top-ranked side. The Black Caps dismissed the tourists for 124 in the first hour of day three before chasing down their 132-run victory target with the loss of just three wickets. The win comes on the back of New Zealand's first test by ten wickets. Newcomer Kyle Jamieson was named player of the match taking five wickets for the home side in the first innings and scoring a valuable 49. Trent Boult was the most successful of the New Zealand bowlers in the second innings taking four wickets and told sports editor Stephen Hewson from the team dressing room that they never thought they would have the match wrapped up inside of three days.
