A legal expert is calling for better public awareness of cryptocurrency scams after authorities decided not to investigate the OneCoin scheme. The Commerce Commission said it made enquiries about the multibillion-dollar cryptocurrency scheme last year but found it was no longer active. In New Zealand, investors in OneCoin say they've been scammed out of hundreds of thousands of dollars.
