First ever nationwide 'Open farms day'

For the city dwellers among us - when was the last time you went to a farm? Or our rural listeners - do you ever feel like urban kiwis don't know where there food comes from and what work goes into it? Well, this Sunday 51 farms around the country are hoping to change that. They're opening their gates for the first ever nationwide 'Open Farms' day. Up and down the country farms large and small will welcome guests onto their land and each day this week we're going to speak to one. Today we hear from Dominique Schacherer who runs the Spring Collective in South Canterbury.
