New rules to control vaping will be introduced this week

New rules to control vaping and e-cigarettes will be introduced to Parliament this week. Under the proposed changes all vaping products will be banned for people under 18, and most flavours will only be allowed for sale in specialist vape stores. The Associate Health Minister Jenny Salesa says the government recognises vaping is a useful tool to help smokers quit but at the same time it wants to discouraging non-smokers and young people from starting the habit. She told our reporter Katie Doyle its about striking a balance.
