Free school lunches makes a big difference - Principal

The principal of a low-decile school providing free lunches to all its students says the programme has made a huge difference to both children and their families. The 460 students at Flaxmere Primary School are among the 7000 kids receiving a free lunch daily, as part of the government's $45 million school lunch programme. The school's principal, Robyn Issaacson, told Anusha Bradley that some kids wouldn't come to school if they didn't have lunch.
