Watercare shuts off some pump stations after dry conditions

The upper north island has been suffering extraordinarily dry conditions, resulting in Watercare shutting off pumpstations in some areas last week due to low reservoir levels. Council members were flooded with concerns from local residents struggling to get by with little to no water after the pumpstations were closed.
