Flood waters swamped 20 properties in Mataura

Some Mataura residents are facing with a huge clean-up this morning after flood waters swamped about 20 properties in the town. It's the last evacuated town to be reopened in Southland after the Mataura River flooded on Wednesday morning. Southland's Emergency Management agency says about twenty homes are uninhabitable.
