40 percent of plastics not recycled properly

Many of us have been recycling for years - but it turns out we're not that good at it. Research from the Waste Management Institute's found almost 40 percent of plastics that can be recycled end up in the wrong bin - and therefore head to landfill. Sarah Robson caught up with associate environment minister, Eugenie Sage, who says the Government is looking into better labelling requirements, as well as national rules for kerbside recycling.
