Personal and kauri tree loss combine in play Ghost Trees

A new production coming to Auckland audiences over the next month combines the story of one man's personal struggle with the loss of his partner and loss of the magnificent stand of trees surrounding his property to kauri dieback. Gary Stalker's one man play Ghost Trees played at the Going West festival last year and is now starting a short tour in the North. Director Paul Gittens and Gary Stalker spoke to producer Katrina Batten about this re-imagining of personal loss and environmental extinction.
