Schools reopen as teacher shortage continues

Schools start to reopen from today and principals say they are still struggling with a shortage of quality teachers. Those contacted by RNZ say they have enough staff to start the year, but they are worried about how they will fill vacancies that arise in the next few months. Stuart Birch from recruitment agency Ed Personnel told our education correspondent, John Gerritsen, demand for teachers is high but there seem to be more teachers available.
