Police divers role in looking for survivors very challenging

Rescue officials will this morning announce whether divers will return today to continue the search for two missing people from the Whakaari/White Island eruption. Rob Gatt is currently the Executive Director of the Australian Diver Accreditation Scheme, but spent much of his career as part of the Victoria Police Search and Rescue Squad. While he couldn't talk to the specifics of the conditions the team in Whakatane are dealing with, he told First Up's Lydia Batham the role of Police divers is incredibly challenging.
