Auckland City Fire still blazing- Update from the cordon

We return to the fire at the SkyCity International Convention centre now - the roof of which is still burning despite hopes it would be killed off yesterday evening. It's been 42 hours since the fire began and engulfed the entire roof of the $700million dollar building which was under construction. Firefighters have been in defensive mode working to contain the fire and stop it from reaching below level 5 of the building. Jessie Chiang was at the scene.
