New Zealand First could do a u-turn on it's opposition to drug testing at festivals. Last month, Police Minister Stuart Nash said he had failed to legalise drug testing before summer because of New Zealand First's opposition. Pill testing allows people to check that the drugs they are planning to take are safe and are what they claim to be.Yesterday party members voted in favour of reconsidering their position, after the remit was put up by the party's youth wing at the party conference in Christchurch. While the party is divided on the issue, Tracey Martin and Jenny Marcroft gave their support. Jenny Marcroft spoke with Indira Stewart earlier.
