Rugby World Cup: Fiji fall agonisingly short against Wales

From First Up, 5:19 am on 10 October 2019

Fiji bowed out of the Rugby World Cup with a gallant 29-17 defeat to Wales last night. The Flying Fijians raced out to a 10-0 lead after seven minutes, but trailed at half-time after receiving two yellow cards. Wales also had two players sent to the sin bin but a hat-trick from winger Josh Adams and a bonus point try from Liam Williams secured a come-from-behind win and a place in the quarter finals. UK based Fiji hooker Sam Matavesi told RNZ Pacific's Vinnie Wylie it was a case of the game that got away.
