Parent visa changes may see police officer return to UK

A Dunedin police officer recruited from the UK ten years ago says he may call it quits because he's so angry about new immigration rules that block him from bringing over his parents. The government's reinstated the parent visa category after National suspended it in 2016 but there are strict new income requirments which mean Will Pentelow and his wife must earn more than 212-thousand dollars before his mother and father can move here.
