Residents demand answers after dead fish wash up on properties
Upper Hutt residents say a routine flushing of a local dam has left dozens of fish dead in the creek below. The Wellington Regional Council's flush of the lake at the top of the Birchville dam is reported to have left more sediment than usual downstream, alarming residents who say they've seen dozens of dead trout, smothered in mud. However, the council says it hasn't seen anything out of the ordinary. Emma Hatton reports.
