Climate catastrophe looming if failure to reduce emissions
Millions of people displaced. A cost of trillions to the global economy. Irreversible damage to the Antarctic ice sheets. Once-in-a century coastal floods happening once a year. The findings of a new IPCC report on the ocean and cryosphere suggest that's the worst case scenario if we fail to reduce global greenhouse gas emissions. First Up producer Lydia Batham spoke to Professor James Renwick from Victoria University about the report's findings - and what needs to be done.
