A group of female prisoners say they've turned their lives around after overcoming their addictions through a drug treatment programme at Arohata Prison.
The programme at the female-only prison in Tawa, Wellington is one of eleven locations where the government is expanding drug and alcohol treatment schemes.
It will also see five more drug and alcohol programmes established both inside and outside prison, as part of a 128 million dollar investment. Meriana Johnsen reports.
