Hong Kong street protests continue eight weeks on with no sign of resolution

From First Up, 5:09 am on 29 July 2019

Let's head to Hong Kong where anti-goverment and pro-democracy protestors have taken to the street for the eighth weekend in a row. Protesters fought chaotic battles across the city, facing off against riot police, who have been firing back with tear gas and rubber bullets. The protests began two months ago over a controversial bill that would have allowed for people to be extradited to China - but since then they've morphed into widespread anger against the Hong Kong government. Our reporter Craig Hoyle is there.
