More than 140,000 New Zealanders have signed a petition calling for a National Cancer agency in what has become the country's biggest Cancer petition to date. Last week you might remember we spoke to 38-year-old Southland father Blair Vining after he hosted his final farewell party to celebrate his life with friends and family. Blair, who has terminal cancer, led the petition and will seek to present his case before a select committe hearing if he is well enough to. His wife of 16 years, Melissa, spoke to Indira just after the petition closed last night and said they were overwhelmed by the amount of support it had received.
