New youth and family laws bring radical overhaul to OT

Oranga Tamariki will be shaken up today, with new youth and family laws coming into full force. The law requires the ministry provide a practical committment to the Treaty of Waitangi and support care leavers until they turn 25. It's being hailed as having the ablilty to usher in a revolution by the Childrens Commissioner, Judge Andrew Becroft. He spoke to our Youth Affairs Reporter, Katie Doyle about the changes.
