Rewi Spraggon - who is known as the Hāngi Master - has created a pop up hāngi, right in the heart of the central city to showcase the beautiful Māori cuisine and the process that goes with it.

Rewi was up at 5am yesterday preparing the hāngi, so RNZ producer Eden More and videographer Claire Eastham Farrelly went downtown to see him.
