Maryan Street on End of Life bill voted to committee stages

Last night 70 MPs voted David Seymour's End of Life Choice bill through to committee stages, while 50 voted against. It's the third time our parliament has considered assisted dying legalislation, the last time, back in 2012 then Labour MP Maryan Street introduced a similar bill which was later withdrawn. She's now the Spokesperson of the End-of-Life Choice Society
