Hong Kong police use tear gas to disperse protestors

To Hong Kong where police have declared a riot, firing rubber bullets, deploying tear gas and pepper spray in efforts to disperse tens of thousands of protesters who attempted to storm Government buildings. Protests against a controversial bill that will allow extradition to China began in the weekend with more than a million people turning up to march. Law makers have now postponed the second reading of the bill which would have allowed China to extradite people from Hong Kong without trial. Our reporter Craig Hoyle has been in the thick of the protests.
