Dentist hopes free dental care will be election issue next year

A dentist who's delivered a petition calling for more free dental care says she hopes it will be an election issue next year. Assil Russell's charity Revive-a-Smile organised the 10-and-a-half thousand signature petition which was presented to the Hamilton East MP David Bennett yesterday. She told reporter Rowan Quinn her charity, which offers free dental care, receives dozens of requests for help every day and that proves there is a real need.
