Tamaki Regeneration Co - tenants forced out welcome to return

The Tamaki Regeneration Company says tenants forced out of the area are welcome to return. Earlier this week, First Up went to a breakfast club at Tamaki College where students told us a new housing development had forced them to relocate to South Auckland. Five of the six students we spoke to told us their families had been evicted and on top of rising rents, they are now spending up to $40 a week just to get the bus to school. But now the Tamaki Regeneration Company, which is overseeing the 20 year housing development, says those wrongly evicted families can return. Bridget Burke reports
