Agatha Christie's The Mousetrap in NZ

From First Up, 5:45 am on 10 May 2019

The longest running theatre performance on the West End was based on a real-life crime, which took place in Britain at the end of the 1940s.

But unless you've been to London most of us will never get to see the murder mystery The Mousetrap by Agatha Christie which opened in London's West End in 1952 and has been running continuously since then.

The play has a twist ending, which the audience are traditionally asked not to reveal after leaving the theatre.

Katrina Batten and cameraman Dan Cook checked out the production at Auckland Waterfront Theatre.
