Residents of the Porirua suburb of Plimmerton are busy cleaning up and getting rid of the mud after extensive flooding damaged more than a dozen properties.
At the same time, the Council and other organisations are busy making sure the city's water pipes and infrastructure is ready for another evening of heavy rain.
