Jessica Chastain stars as the ‘Poker Princess’, Molly Bloom, in Aaron Sorkin’s directorial debut

Based on Bloom’s book, Molly’s Game, is the story of the former Olympic-class skier who ran one of the biggest weekly poker games in New York before the mob and the FBI caught up with her.

Phantom Thread is the second, possibly final, collaboration between director PT Anderson and actor Daniel Day-Lewis.

The New Zealand faith-based gang drama about forgiveness, Broken, was shot on the East Coast in five weeks with a cast and crew of enthusiastic mostly first-timers. It’s an an impressive debut from writer-director Tarry Mortlock, Dan says.
