The Festival opens in Auckland on 20 July and in Wellington the following week, and then travels around the country for the rest of the year.
Among this year's highlights are Cannes Film Festival winner The Square, Gaylene Preston's documentary My Year With Helen and Sofia Coppola's feminist take on an old Clint Eastwood western The Beguiled.
