AT THE MOVIES #905 I LOVE YOU AND I ALSO DON’T
Simon Morris looks back on 2022, with mixed feeling about the fact that many of these titles only appeared on streaming services – including this year’s Best Film Oscar-winner, Apple TV’s CODA.
The biggest film at the box office was Top Gun Maverick, though New Zealanders featured strongly internationally too – Taika Waititi’s Thor: Love and Thunder, Jurassic World Dominion, co-starring Sir Sam Neill, and of course the Best Director Oscar for Dame Jane Campion’s The Power of the Dog.
