At the Movies pivots to home entertainment while the country is on a Level 4 Lockdown due to Covid-19.
Dan Slevin sits in for Simon Morris and reviews:
In Adopt a Highway, Ethan Hawke stars as a just released ex-con who discovers an abandoned baby in a dumpster behind the fast food joint where he works.
The Operative is a thriller about a mysterious woman (Diane Kruger) who goes undercover in Iran for the Israeli security service, Mossad.
Netflix has just added over a dozen films from the Japanese anime Studio Ghibli and Dan Slevin samples some of the wonderful songs featured in their films.
And Dan recommends the movie streaming site Mubi for arthouse film lovers feeling the loss of their film society. They have a seven day free trial and the service is also free if you have a working tertiary education email address.
