Last Christmas presses all the right buttons – seasonal romance, attractive stars and the music of George Michael.  Stars Emilia Clarke, Emma Thompson and two stars of Crazy Rich Asians, Henry Golding and Michelle Yeoh.

New Zealand film Bellbird is a sweet, rural dramedy about love, loss and life on a dairy farm.  Stars Marshall Napier, Cohen Holloway and Rachel House (Boy, Moana).

Pain and glory is Spanish legend Pedro Almodovar’s semi-autobiographical look back on his childhood, first love and movies.

And from Netflix, The King – Shakespeare’s Henry V reimagined for the Brexit era.  Stars Timothee Chalamet, Joel Edgerton and Thomasin McKenzie (Jojo Rabbit)
