AT THE MOVIES #712                   WHAT DO MEN WANT?

 Simon Morris looks at three movies that are mostly driven by men – a bleak New Zealand drama, a comedy about New and Old men, and the man and boy behind one of the most successful children’s books ever.

 Human traces puts two men on a lonely island with one woman – but that’s just the start.  Stars Sophie Henderson, Mark Mitchenson and Vinnie Bennett.

 Daddy’s home 2 is more comedy about fathers, step fathers and sons – mostly.  Stars Will Ferrell, Mark Wahlberg and Mel Gibson.

 And Goodbye Christopher Robin tells the bittersweet story of the father and son behind the Winnie the Pooh phenomenon.  Stars Domhnall Gleeson, Margot Robbie and 8-year-old Will Tilston.
