AT THE MOVIES #652 – COMING ATTRACTIONS

Simon Morris wonders why this blockbuster season was notable for dashed expectations - possibly because the trailers are rather better than the actual movies.   He looks at some of the secrets of the movie promo, and at one of the films that let down the trailer’s promise - Absolutely Fabulous The Movie.  And the thriller Green Room suggests that its director, Jeremy Saulnier, is a talent to watch.
