Teaching Chinese across the country – Sook Hua Lee, Hawke's Bay success story

Sook Hua Lee at an E-Learning CentreSook Hua Lee is currently the only tutor teaching Chinese to secondary school students across the country via video conferencing. She does this from the E-Learning Centre at Tamatea High School in Napier, Hawkes Bay, which also happens to be the only school in the country to provide this service.

For this and her selfless service to the diverse and growing Asian communities of Hawkes Bay over the last four decades, Malaysian-born Sook Hua Lee was awarded the 2012 Best Asian Practicing Professional by Hawkes Bay’s Multicultural Association.
