Emily's Story - Emily Short

There are lots of car crashes in this country, and Emily Short is the victim of one of them. A drunk driver crashed head-on into Emily's car, nearly killing the 20-year-old and her unborn baby. It happened at Lewis Pass late last month. Yet Emily says she feels sympathy for the drunk driver. He is Colin George Martin, and he admitted to charges of dangerous driving causing injury and driving with an excess breath alcohol level. Emily says she wants to explain to him just how the crash has impacted on her life.
