Fantail feature film

Proof now that you don't need big budgets and special effects to make a great movie. Curtis Vowell and his wife Sophie Henderson have a background in theatre, but until recently, neither of them had any experience in film making. On a chance, they submitted a script to the New Zealand Film Commission and were given the green light to shoot their first film, a feature called 'Fantail', which has screened in a couple of international film festivals and is about to open in cinemas nationwide. 'Fantail's' director Curtis Vowell tells the story.
