Topics - Well you can't say John Key isn't giving voters plenty of notice - in this case more than six months - of polling day. His choice of September 20 was one of a fairly limited range of available dates that didn't clash with a big sporting event or disturb the school holidays. The election announcement also gives Mr Key a platform to discuss changing the New Zealand flag. Malaysian authorities have released security video of the two men who used stolen passports to board the Malaysia Airlines plane that vanished over the South China Sea.
