Sights set on Paralympics

From Afternoons, 2:18 pm on 6 March 2014

When Tony Christiansen was just 9 years old, he was collecting coal at a railway yard when the unimaginable happened. He was dragged beneath the two four-tonne wagons as he was crossing the track and lost both of his legs. Now, the boy who was not expected to live past the age of 16, has packed more life into his life than most of us ever dare to try. He's climbed Mount Kilimanjaro, scuba dives, is a qualified pilot, runs a successful business and he has plans to race on the Bonniville Salt flats and compete in the 2018 Winter Paralympic games.
