Your place - Clarence

From Afternoons, 1:25 pm on 30 January 2014

Clarence is possibly the least-known town on our main road. It takes its name from King William IV of England, the monarch from 1830 until 1837, who was the Duke of Clarence prior to his accession. The locals call their village Clarence Bridge because of the large banana-shaped river-crossing that was built in the mid 1970s.
